Can’t seem to figure out exactly what to wear when it comes to exercises such as, going for a walk, running, going to the gym, or simply while working out at home?
Yes, I know, it can be very stressful to find something just right to wear while exercising, but is it not doing exercises suppose to be for you to release some of the stress that attacks your daily living and not to add onto it? So, why not stop worrying about weather you look good or not, and start worrying about dressing up to feel comfortable while obtaining good results from your exercise routines.
When it comes to exercising, you should wear whatever makes you feel much comfortable as you carry out your routine. You should not have to worry about what others may think of you while wearing something that may appear to be silly looking when the real deal is underneath all of the garments used to cover-up your beautifully fit body!
Sure, we all love to look nice wearing the best clothes and if it matches up, even better, but remember that while working out, you are not trying to look good for the public and that instead you are working out to keep physically fit!
You should dress according to the exercise you want to carry out and the weather. Such as when you are out for a walk, a run, or whatever the workout, you should dress not tight, but not too loose either. You should wear clothes made of light, refreshing material, and motivating colors. Your shoes should be especially designed for the type of workout you choose to carry out. Now here, let me provide you with some examples of how you should dress for outdoor and indoor workouts:
Climate: Hot and Sunny
You could wear shorts or maybe light, fresh, and elastic pants that will adjust to the twisting and bending of your body parts. A tang-top or nice cotton t-shirt should be right for your upper body. Your feet should not have to suffer more than what they already do while running or walking for such long distances, so your shoes should be fit to protect your feet and help you feel the road like if it were on clouds you were on about.
Climate: Sunny and Windy
If it is sunny outside, but windy at the same time, then you should wear a windbreaker suit. These are normally light and thin material based clothing especially made for running and walking.
Climate: Cold and Snowy
A hoodie and some sweatpants will work to keep you warm through out the cold air and thermal socks with shoes that have great friction and rough bottoms will help keep your feet warm and prevent you from slipping and falling on ice.
Climate: Cold and Windy
In this case, it is not necessary that you bundle up even more then you already have. You can simply wear the same style of clothes as above, but you can also add thermal pants and shirt underneath the sweat pants and hoodie. Or, you can choose to wear thermal clothing with a windbreaker over top instead. Remember, that the point here is to feel comfortable, but you don’t want to catch a cold or any sickness of its kind. So, you should also place a a nice warm skully over your head.
Climate: Rainy and Windy
You should stay home and workout at home, or simply advance your day off on exercises, place your PJs on, some cozy socks, grab a hot cup of chocolate, and relax!
We all need a break like this every once in a while. The sound of rain is a great natural relaxing sound that has the ability to put your mind at ease. So, what I usually do is, relax, drink a cup of coffee, enjoy a great nap on my cozy bed. Remember that the brain also needs to have its peace in order for the body to function right. So, take a chill pill!
While being at home, it is not necessary that you suit up like you do in outdoor workouts. You’re with in your walls of privacy and comfort so there should be the need to feel appropriately dressed. Wearing shorts, a t-shirt, and suited shoes should be just enough.
Place: Gym, Zumba, or Yoga Classes
In these places, you are required to come in a certain dress code which your class instructor should be in charge of telling how, but if he/she doesn’t, then feel free to go however you prefer as long as you are feeling comfortable. But whether you are indoor or outdoor doing exercises, do not to take excess of equipment, and only take what is necessary. A sweat towel, water of bottle, shower towel, and an extra set of clothes just in case you decide to take a refreshing shower within the installations.
Well, I hope that you will take these suggestions into consideration and soon start to enjoy your exercise routines in comfort. Here is a list of shoes to buy for running/walking:

Newspaper Shopping: Sometimes finding accessible fitness equipment is as easy as buying and reading through the daily newspaper where people post their personal belongings for sale. Equipment which is sometimes posted may be new, used for one time only, or old, but in great conditions. Sometimes prices can even be negotiable.
Garage Sale Shopping: For me, I think that this is one of the best ways to shop for cheap equipment. Exercising with the abs wheel requires that your core muscles work together to properly execute the movement, allowing these muscles to contract as a group. Additionally, the exercise wheel offers variety when you are bored with your current core-strengthening routine.
