“Refreshing and uplifting”
1 16 ounce portion cooked tuna deboned
1/4 cup organic mayonnaise
2 tablespoon chopped dill pickles
2 tablespoons horseradish sauce
1 tablespoon fresh parsley diced
4 slices whole wheat bread or your favorite toasted
1 cup loose washed lettuce leaves
6 slices Emmentaller cheese
8 slices tomato large
1 medium red onion sliced
sea salt to taste
Combine the tuna, mayonnaise,horseradish and pickles in a small mixing bowl until thoroughly mixed.
Toast your bread and immediately place a slice of Emmentaller cheese onto 2 slices of bread, then top with a good size leaf of lettuce then add the onions. Remember, greens are good for you.
Spread the tuna mixture onto the lettuce leaves and top with your toasted bread slice.
