Thinking about giving your kids a few bucks for school lunch? You might want to rethink that and invest in sending them off with a homemade nutritious bag lunch instead. Yes you might want to rethink your morning schedule just a tad to make time to prep & bag your kids their lunch.
It can be essential for your kids to eat a healthy lunch when at school as many if not all of the foods offered at school can have little of no nutrition at all and if you leave your kid to make other choices they may sooner or later gravitate to the vending machines which can get them to the grave twice as fast with zero nutrition coming out any of those machines. Now keep in mind that your kids are in school to learn and need to eat foods that will enable them to retain the information learned throughout the school day but if they eat foods that have little or no nutrition and worst foods that can cause serious health problems now and in the future then all your hard work in protecting and nurturing them will have been in vain as you are literary sending them into the lions pit each and every school day. Peer pressure will also have loads to do with what your kids will eat as many a time kids have been teased and ridiculed for eating apples and other foods that are good for them but look wimpy to the “cool” kids stuffing their faces with greasy and sloppy burgers and fries.
Your kid’s body is in a constant state of growing and their bodies are demanding a constant and continues stream of calories and nutrients to keep them functioning right. Children who eat nutritious foods grow faster, grow stronger and reach their physical potential more consistently than kids who eat the wrong foods and by having your kids eat healthy and nutritious lunches you are insuring them a better future in the long run. Also kids who eat healthy lunches get sick less often and are able to recover faster when they do get sick. Children who eat healthier also have a better outlook on their body image as kids who eat the wrong foods tend to get fat and sluggish looking, will brake bones more often and generally not look healthy, especially as they are plopped down in front of the TV screen playing the latest video game and using their jelly fat stomach rolls as a stand for their video game controller. Obesity in children and teens in today’s world has reached an epidemic level and these poor kids who are like cattle will suffer greatly later in life from possible stroke, cancer, diabetes, heart disease and other deadly diseases. Kids who eat sugary and salty snacks or worse just drink a diet soda for lunch are often tired, cranky, moody and disinterested in classes and develop attention disorders.
If you want your kid to go to a good University one of the requiems will have to be what they eat good and healthy now as this will provide a significant tool for them to inherit an education that will enable them to be all that they can be, and most importantly to be able to provide for you in your latter days as well. Remember that you are what you eat and if your kids are eating foods that are high in artificial sugars, bad fats, salt than they are heading straight to the morgue but if you feed them foods that will give their body’s the proper nutrition to enable them to become all that they wish and more.
