Love them or hate them veggies will always be the most health promoting food group on this earth as they contain wonderfully good components like antioxidants, fiber and strong phytochemicals. Getting people and most importantly kids to eat their vegies basically come down to presentation, the better and more appealing the presentation the higher the odds will be that they will not only be eaten but eaten with joy and compliments. “If veggies are only served in ways that don’t match your personal flavor preferences, they won’t seem exciting,” says Karen Collins, MS, RD and nutrition advisor for the American Institute for Cancer Research. So on one side if you love spicy food, you won’t like veggies served plain but if you love ordinary, earthy flavors, veggies covered with rich sauce won’t appeal.
