Yes, you read it right. Yoga is the best thing to do to up your libido and improve your sexual performance. The lack of libido is due to the lack of a healthy lifestyle. It is well known that depression and stress can cause many damages to a human being and they are in this case the main reasons women face sexual problems today.
Yoga de-stresses you and that is one of the best things about it. The breathing exercises that provides, help you relax, and when you are de-stressed sex becomes that much more interesting and pleasant. And more to it, yoga gives a boost to your self-awareness and personal comfort levels, while making you more compassionate towards your partner’s sexual needs.
Like the Agnisaar breathing exercise that helps you relax and also stimulates your senses. Agnisaar combines the holding of your breath and pushing your abdomen in and out as much as you can. None the less, as much as we might like to pick up these yoga asanas instantly, a yoga exercise like Agnisaar, can take a lot of practice before you can have ot down packed. But I have something else for you to do in order to take your libido to the next spiritual level:
Strengthen your Pelvic Muscles:
You do know that stronger pelvic muscles obviously mean better orgasms, right? Well, now you know and it is what yoga can also help do for you. Yoga means a more flexible you, which in turn means a better sexual performance. Look up for classes around your neighborhood and enter yoga asanas that help strengthen your pelvic muscles.
Concentrating on the mooladhari chakra (chakra related to the cervix) will help.
Fin a nice relaxing place where you can lie in a comfortable position and focus all of your energy on the cervix. Inhale and exhale slowly while continuing to do so. This will more than definitely help you increase your libido. But, concentrating on your cervix is just the first step towards making your pelvis strong as you want ut ti be.
And no need to worry! I did enough research to get you exactly what you need to do so. Here are the asans that will help make your pelvis stronger:
Which is also known as “The dog pose.” It will help strengthen your hip muscles and stimulate your entire body, especially the back. Just exactlyt how do you do the Adho-mukha-svanasana? It is easy as this:
Step one: Drop down on all fours with your knees as wide as your hips.
Step two: Now arch your spine and look upwards as you inhale.
Step three: Now, exhale and raise your knees from the ground as you slowly push away from the floor so that you resemble an inverted V. While at this pose, pull in your pelvis muscles/uterus in as you inhale and push it out as you exhale.
Step four: Slowly come back to the original position.
And there you have it! Easy as one, two, there.
The camel pose is great for flexibility and here is how to do it:
Step one: Drop down on your knees.
Step two: Now, slowly bend back as you try to reach your ankles.
Step three: Hold this pose up to five counts.
Step four: Slowly come back to the starting position and repeat.
Make sure you bring your head down on the floor and hold there for a while after you practice this position.
You can enhance your energy levels and find the stamina you need for a better and longer performance in practicing yoga. But that is not even the half of it!
Yoga is also a flat out window to a world of different sexual positions in which can get lost with wonderous pleasures!
