Greenpeace has found traces of toxic chemicals which are harmful to the environment in everyday products sold in American stores by 14 top manufacturers. Various articles of clothes from top brands like, Adidas, Calvin Klein, Abercrombie & Fitch, Lacoste, Converse and Ralph Lauren were discovered to be infected with chemicals known as nanylphenol ethoxylates (NPEs). This substance is used as a detergent in industries including the production of natural and synthetic textiles.
