To start its important to eat in a quiet and peaceful environment void of television or even reading as these chores will make you eat faster and put your focus on what your seeing through your eyes and take away your attention to what your eating.  If you do not have of these distractions you will not only enjoy your food more but you will also chew your food more and this will aid your digestive organs greatly so they can focus their attention on getting all the nutrients out of what you eat.  Also those of you who do eat in tense places, watch television or argue when eating are more prone to not only digestive disorders but heart and diabetes problems.

It would be wise to eat a fruits, nuts and seeds in between meals as one of their great attributes that they have is of containing lots of good and natural fiber which your bowels needs in order to do their job.  Tea is also awesome for your digestive system as the hot water itself is a great and natural detoxifier and also aids in building digestive strength. You can also simmer some freshly grated ginger, which is also great for stimulating digestion.  There are plenty of herbs that can also help you and make wonderful herbal teas such as cinnamon, peppermint, black peppers and chamomile teas.

It’s also wise to eat freshly cooked food because it contains the most nutrients and is free of staleness and mold and most importantly try not to over eat as excessive eating loads your digestive organs down.  There is an old Ayurveda medicine that says that you should only eat the amount of food that will fit in your cupped hands.

After you eat sit back and relax for a few minutes and let your body assume its roles in breaking down that healthy and delicious tuna sub that you just ate.  If you tend to eat and run or even worst eat on the run you will certainly ruin your bowels and they someday will ruin you, so take care of them and eat foods that are not only tasty but good for your body as eating foods from fast food chains will damage not only your digestive system but your heart, liver, kidneys, brain and even lungs in some ways.
