Jerry Sandusky former Penn State defensive coach has been hit with more complaints and this time from his own daughter in law. Mrs. Sandusky has obtained a restraining order that forbids her children (Jerry Sandusky’s grandkids) from sleeping over his home. Mrs. Sandusky is claiming that Jerry Sandusky abused his own grandchildren. The complaint was filed with the Centre Country’s Children and Youth Services by the wife of Jerry Sandusky own adopted son.
Joseph Amendola, Jerry Sandusky’s attorney told ABC News that, “the allegations are ridiculous and unfounded, Jerry has absolutely denied any inappropriate contact with his grandkids”.
Jerry Sandusky is now facing over 40 counts of child sexual abuse including rape but Sandusky’s lawyer says that many of these are copycat charges with those who just want to jump on the bandwagon. Nonetheless one of Sandusky’s alleged victims went to court to get an injunction to stop The Second Mile from liquidating its assets and to sue The Second Mile for negligence and for failing to report known sexual abuse of children by Jerry Sandusky. The Second Mile was the charity which Sandusky founded. Authorities have stated that Jerry Sandusky used the charity to meet and groom potential child victims.
If these new claims are found to be credible then this would be the first case to be reported since Jerry Sandusky’s arrest that involved children, since all other publicly known cases of alleged victims that have come forward have been adults.
Jerry Sandusky remains free on unsecured bail.
