Working out doesn’t have to be all hard work, sweating, huffing and puffing and wishing you never got out of bed.   A workout should be fun, inspirational, exciting and leave you that feel good feeling that leaves you refreshed and loving life.  A good workout routine should give you the opportunity to burn fat, manage your blood pressure, and most importantly, have fun.
the primary culprit responsible for you feeling good is called endorphins which are opioid peptides that function as neurotransmitter which are produced by the hypothalamus and pituitary glands during exercise, pain, love, excitement and even when you have an orgasm.  They imitate the opiates in their powers to produce analgesia and feel good feelings.  This opiate is a morphine like substance that naturally originates from the body.
The term endorphin rush has been used to refer to the feel good feeling brought on by pain, stress, love etc. and is due to the effect of endorphins and when a nerve impulse reaches the spinal cord these endorphins that prevent nerve signals from releasing more pain signals are released.
the most commonly known effect of endorphins is called “runner’s high”  which happens when strenuous exercise activates the production of endorphins and can occur when there is a long, continuous workout, high intensity and breathing becomes harder.  It is important to pay close attention to your body when this happens as you can easily take yourself over the edge as pain is reduced and you may push yourself to the point of injury or harm.  A runners high can be described as having a feeling of happiness and euphoria.  This high allows people to run or exercise for vast lengths of time without pain as the body produces this chemicals to deal with long periods of pain and stress from exercising.
Some games that can increase your endorphin production include:

Dodge Ball
This game can take place indoors or outdoors and typically involve two teams of an equal number of players. Players use rubber-coated foam balls approximately 9 inches wide and players on one team try to eliminate players on the opposing team by hitting opposing players with a ball. Throwing a ball makes it “live,” and it remains live until it touches something. You can eliminate opposing players by catching a live ball thrown at you before the ball touches the ground. The first team to eliminate all opposing players, or to have the most players at a set time, wins and gets a whole lot of free endorphin as well.

Jump Rope
This can be done almost anywhere as long as you have enough space to jump rope.  this is a great exercise for your legs, arms and all around cardiovascular system and most importantly, builds endurance.

Jogging
Set up a schedule for jogging that you can keep and commit to as this will give you loads of endorphin that will energize and make you feel good.

Weightlifting
This will surely give you enough endorphin to get you hooked and make your workouts a whole lot more fun and energizing.
