Green Tea

People just cant get enough of green tea.  Green tea is a wonder of an antioxidant and is known to prevent and fight diseases.  This alone may just be one of the reason that people in China tend to outlived those from other parts of the world.  The combination of this tea with ginseng, honey and even apricot will aid you even more in combating cancer, heart disease, stroke, increase your metabolism rate and even help you lose weight.

Everyone loves milkshakes, especially those chocolate and peanut butter ones and what better to eat or drink something cold than to endulge in a fresh fruit smoothie.

Apricot Strawberry Smoothie

Ingredients

serves 2

• Apricot, diced -1
• Strawberries – 6
• Banana – ½
• Water – 1 ½ cup
• yoghurt – 1 cup
• Ice, crushed – ¼ cup

Take the dried apricots, strawberries, bananas and mix them together in a blender then add water. Now blend again till all the fruits and water are properly mixed, around 1 whole minute.
Keep it in the refrigerator and serve it chilled.

Banana-berry Fruit Smoothie

Ingredients

• Ripe Banana – 1
• Mixed berries or blueberries, frozen – ¼ cup
• Water – 1 ¼ cup
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
•  yogurt or raw milk – 1 cup
• Ice, crushed – ¼ cup

Take banana, berries, cinnamon, yogurt and ice in a bowl and blend them then blend till all the ingredients are mixed. and serve chilled.

These can be kept in the fridge and drank through the day.  Health drinks not only fill your stomach but will also satisfy your taste buds, and all this not at the cost of your health and one can surely enjoy these drinks.
