Default Diet tips and questions about carbohydrates?
Is this true that foods with no carbohydrates can't make you gain fat? Or is this only true to an extent, or is it a myth? I'm on a diet restricting all carbohydrates. Is it bad for me? How many calories should I eat a day on this diet? The same normal amount I usually would? Or more? Maybe even less..? Explanations please!

No , it's not true that carbohydrates can't make you gain fat. It generally depends on which carbs you are taking into diet.Simple carbs are digested more quickly while complex carbs take some time to be digested. Simple carbs raise blood sugar levels faster and more dramatically while complex carbs take somewhat more time.

If you are worried about your weight and want to reduce some weight then you can get the best diet plan for that. Basically eat fruits and salad more then you can reduce more weight without any problem. At the same time you will be healthy also.

Well I want to suggest you that Carbohydrates can also make you fat if you get overdose of it.We should control and maintain the proper amount of Carbohydrates in regular food. That is because we love the sweet taste of simple carbohydrates, and because the rush of energy we get from them is short and leaves us feeling hungry, it's easy to eat too much simple carbohydrates.

i think you have said whats been on a lot of peoples minds in this forum....i also think that a lot of people look at it as somethin' like..oh i think im gonna loose some weight and see how fast it melts off...then get discouraged cause it doesn't...i have learned from personal experience that weight loss is not just something to do for a few weeks and then drop it....its a commitment...even if you ever get to your idea body style then you have to keep working to stay there...it takes years of hard work sweat and sacrifice to get in great physical shape...there is no need in pills or creams or even low carb diets because your body will loose the weight if you will feed it right and get off your butt....in other words getting fit is NOT for the faint of heart....love daisy
