Default How many reps and sets?
with any muscle. How many sets should I do including using different machines for like example chest or bi's? I'll do bi's on 5 different machines/dumbells and same with chest. Also I do about 14-16 reps.

I would follow the 5x5 routine then.. Its phenominal at putting on size and strength. Look up at the stickies in the training forum. You'll find it all laid out there. I've used it numerous times with great results.

Its too much isolation... you don't want that when bulking. Machines are more for circuit training, conditioning, and/or cutting/isolation work. You want HEAVY compound lifts and free weights when bulking.. Its imporant to build your core and working every muscle possible.

Oh well I didn't know that. When I'm using machines I lift heavy and my workouts are intense. Bi's I will do 1 machine 4 sets of 15, 2 cable machines 4 sets of 15, dumbells curls 4 sets of 15 for both sitting and standing and 4 sets of 15 with barbell curls.

honestly, that much bi work is pointless. Spend more time doing back exercises and your bi's/arms will grow! Like pull ups, bent rows, deads, t-bar rows, etc.. Then maybe a few sets of db curls or bb curls to top it off. Thats all you need bro.

See If I don't do it how I mentioned then the next day I don't feel anything. If I do what I said, with that many different exercises like I did yesterday then today I feel some sorness.
