    Default newbie help with 5x5
    i worked out on and off for a few yrs.
    im athletic and toned and was going to start back using the 5x5 with 500mg of test e for ten weeks.
    im 6'3 about 218 and in my early 30's
    i was just woundering if the 5x would be a good start combing with the test and a good diet

    No reason to go from 0 to 60 right away in my opinion, which don't mean much.

    Why not get a good natural base going for a few months to get your body used to lifting and get some growth (muscle growth not gh) before hoping on test? Getting too big too fast is a recipe for injury.

    thinks for the info, its not my first cycle, a few yrs ago i done 500mgs test e with great results, then test e and... dbol..i mean to say ive been working naturally for about 3 months now and think i have a good base ive been athletic my entire life. i was just hoping someone could realy break down the 5x5.

    not much to break down , i suggest useing the 5x5 for heavy/compound moves like bench/deadlift/squats/good mornings/etc. and useing a few more reps for the regular stuff like curls/skull crushers/rows/shrugs/etc. .
    imo stick to heavy compound movements and a few other excercises like the rows/bb curls/shrugs/skull crushers/etc. skip the concentration/isolations excercises for now.
