    Default Training, Diet, or Sleep?
Lately due to lack of sleep, Ive not had much of an appetite. Been thinking about ordering more Andriol to boost my appetite, but Im saving that for a last resort. Dont really want to take anything else while Im on HGH. With my job, family, working out..its pretty much impossible to get more than 7 hours of sleep a night...hell 6 is lucky.

What I want to know is this.... even though there are many factors that help you build muscle and maintain it, lets break them into three main parts.

    A.Training B.Diet C.Sleep

I know that all three are important, but in which order is what Id like to know. Im sure that some people have different opinions. I would like to see all of them. Im especially interested in peoples opinions regarding just how important that Sleep* is to building and maintaining muscle. Ive read a lot about cortisol, but I still dont have a clear idea of how bad not getting at least 8 hours of sleep affects muscle. Thx for reading and for any advice and opinions.

Training clearly stands alone because if you're not lifting your nutirtional and recovery needs will not be any different than a regular person's.

So if someone trains hard on a constant schedule, how much does sleep affect their gains and loss?

Recovery might fall under nutrition in terms of overall importance but that doesn't mean its not a big ****ing piece of the puzzle.

Without sleep my workouts suffer a lot, and I don't even want to cook jack.

A: Push yourself every time. If your going to dedicate the time in the gym make it worth your while!

B: Forget the normal food pyramid, Protein first at the normal 1.5 to 2 grams per lb, then carbs and healthy fats. Also, limit your carb and calorie intake within 2 hours of sleep if possible. Your bodys going from burning say 250 - 300 calories at rest while your awake to 60 - 80 calories while you sleep. This will add to fat gain, sleeplessness, etc.

C: As for the time you are sleeping, are you in REM cycle sleep or are you in more of a rolling around trying not to piss of the wife sleep? If your not hitting REM sleep you could possibly try melatonin or 5htp to help get you to that point, that way your getting more out of the rest you get.

It's all important. lack of sleep believe it or not will wreck havoc on your body. with shitty training you go nowhere, and shitty diet you go nowhere also...........who cares which ones are most important make sure you're doing an adequate job of doing well w/ all 3
