Default splitting workouts into am and pm
Lately I’ve been having a lot of trouble finishing my workouts when I exercise two muscle groups/day. I have been cutting, so the low carb diet may account for some of the lack of energy. By the time I finish the first muscle group I’m way too exhausted to hit the 2nd properly. Could I just split my workouts up into 2 sessions? Ex: Back and shoulder day, am shoulders and pm back? Any suggestions?

I do the 5X5 routine by the way, and this is my split:
    1 chest + abs
    2 back + shoulders
    3 rest/cardio
    4 legs + abs
    5 biceps/triceps
    6 rest/cardio
    7 repeat

Yeah am - pm workouts are common amongst alot of athletes what I would also suggest is training one body part per day.

    Day 1: Chest
    Day 2: Legs
    Day 3: Back
    Day 4: Shoulders
    Day 5: Arms

Stick your 2 rest days where you see fit. Hit abs every other day and the same with cardio.
