    Default Question on Zercher Squats?
    Is there any benefits from doing these squats as oppsosed to other styles I.E do they help with arm and shoulder development due to the way the move is executed?

    if I remember correctly, you recently got back into weight training correct?


    If thats the case, I wouldnt worry about zercher squats. Stick with regular squats and vary them with box, and front if you want some variety.

    Front Squats for the win.

    I do 8 sets of front squats followed by 3 sets of hindu squats to failure and the results have been incredible.

    Yeah I got back on the horse in jan. Im not planning on hitting them just researching for future prefrence and general curiosity. I'll be sticking to basics for a while IMO too many guys try to over complicate things.

    I have done zerchers once. I liked them. Like a perfect blend of deads and squats.

    Of course, zercher squats will get your squat/dead bigger. bigger squats bigger deads = more muscle. Definately another exercise to throw in. I disagree that you dont need to worry about it. The more tools you have in the tool box the better
