 1 Bodypart per day
I currently train like this:
Chest/Back/Calves
Legs/Abs
OFF
OFF
Shoulders/Calves
Arms/Abs
OFF
OFF
I have to do 2 on 2 off due to my schedule and getting sufficient rest
My question is if I do 1 body part per day with the 2 on 2 off schedule will that be enough training with the amount of rest i get??
Chest
Legs
OFF
OFF
Back
Shoulders
OFF
OFF
Arms

1 body part a day is really really bad training economy...

i train one body part a day until i've hit every muscle group:
legs
back
chest
arms
delts
......then off a day, start all over again. gives you enough rest for each bodypart that you can really blast away! if you feel tired, take 2 days off.

 your routine?
Do you find you get good results that way? I would think that would take a long time to see any results by spacing out building time for each muscle group that much.

just make sure you really kill your muscles when you lift and i think you should be ok

Well if thats all your schedule allows for then you really don't have a choice. A lot of people hit each muscle once a week, basically once every 7 days, you're hitting it once every 8 days. You should be fine.

I don't understand how your schedule would only allow that though. That type of workout has you in the gym a million hours a week. A simple split like DC for instance, or HST, 5x5, whatever, has you in the gym LESS than that, yet you'll have better strength and size gains as long as you eat enough and don't **** with the programs. Seriously, anyone who thinks they are getting better gains with a 1 bodypart a day type split compared to HST, 5x5 or DC has never done HST, 5x5 or DC.
If you only have four training days a week, it is absurdly easy to set up a good program. The ones I mentioned above would work great and you will only be in the gym THREE days a week, which gives you an extra day free to eat more food, fix the car, **** the wife, whatever you need to do.
