Cortisone

Anyone with experience with cortisone shots? I know this is a last resort, I have tried everything in the last few months though.Have taken the last month off any real upper body training, today decided to test the elbow with light weight, if anything its worse now.
Doc says tendonitis, take 4 months off from the gym, this is not an option for me.

i had a cortisone shot in my foot. i tweaked a nerve when i was wrestling.
the inflamation and pain are gone. only took 1 painful shot.

what ar eyou looking to hear?

it works perfect for some people, it doens't do a thing for others. I have buddies that've used it and they didn't see a difference.

If you have insurance it's cheap. If you'r ein thta much pain just get it.

I should be more specific.
I read alot of conflicting medical opinion, how it attacks the immune system, joint deterioration. Other doctors go as far as calling it a wonder drug.
It worked for a good friend of mine same injury, so theres no question Im getting the shot, just wanted to know if anyone has had a negative experience with it.
