    Default Best Back Exercises?
    I was just wondering what ppl think are the best back exercises to have in your routine.
    Right now my back routine is--->

    5 sets 6-8 reps bent-over barbell rows
    4 sets 6-8reps T-Bar Rows using the olympic bar in corner
    Wide Grip Pull Ups 4 sets 6-10 reps (body weight)
    3 sets 6-8 reps Lat Pull downs
    Iso Lateral Row 3 sets and dead lift

    what do u guys say?

    Best back exercises:

    Rack pulls
    Pendlay Rows
    Weighted Chins
    Power Shrugs

    Bam. Thick, wide back and enormous traps.

    Dead lift and dumbell rows. 6 sets of each at 6-12 reps.

    Jesus Christ that is a lot of back work. 19 sets? How is your back? I would love to see it with all that work.

    i really enjoy the Hammer strenght row and pulldown units.....if you have access, give them a try.

    Pull ups
    Superman's
    Bent over rows
    Back extensions

    Varied reps, sets, order and weights.

    I think we all know that to do that many sets, you'd have to be moving around pissant weights. No one can lift heavy and still maintain that kind of volume.

    Drop the volume down a ton and lift heavy. Only deadlift once a week unless you are either still fairly weak in the deadlift (i.e. using loads that are less than twice your bodyweight) or unless you absolutely despise your lower back and want to destroy it.

    all the bros in my gym do these, and nothing but these, for hours, so they must be the best exercise.

    In that order (of importance)

    I personally like power cleans alot.

    For thickness: corner rows, T bar rows, or barbell rows
    For overall size: Deads
    Traps: Deads and shrugs
