    Default Most popular brand of ZMA?
    I know many feel ZMA is just over priced zinc. For those who do use ZMA, which brand are you using? I'm trying to gain a concensus on the most popular brand.

    what does popularity have to do with anything? GNC is more popular than TrueProtein.com...does that mean you would rather buy mediocre, overpriced products from salesman than have no clue what theyre selling at GNC because they are more popular?

    Im using ZMA from Puritans Pride because they had a buy 2 get 3 free sale.

    yep, just buy zinc, magnesium and b6 capsules. it will cost about 8-10 bucks and it lasts you a good 6 months. no sense in wasting extra money.

    I remember taking ZMA once. A total waste of time. Forgot the brand due to the uninterestingness of the experience.

    There is more in ZMA than zinc.

    GNC's is pretty cheap and your getting what your asking for whith their brand.

    Actually, that's not entirely correct. The details are what make it. The zinc is monomethionene and aspartate and the magnesium is magnesium aspartate.

    I'm not saying it's worth what some are selling it for, just that not all minerals are created equal. Orotates and aspartates are typically more bioavailable than other variations like oxides and carbonates.

    I assumed, (incorrectly obviously), that the majority of members of this board were more knowledgable than the average Joe on the street that only knows to buy at GNC. I purchase all my supps. from DPSNutrtition.com which carries 9 different brands. As TxLonghorn pointed out, not all supps are created equal. I could go with the highest priced brand, but even you understand that higher price doesn't necessarily equate to higher quality.

    Let me rephrase the question, which brand do you believe to be the highest quality? Please, if you can't give me a straight, intelligent answer without a flame, then just let this thread die out.

    Believe they're all the same; only things that varies wildly between brands is dosage per cap. I have some EAS ZMA if you want it. Seems to be good, and the bottle is pretty and all...
