    i just bought a 12 pound bag of serious mass weight gainer by ON and it tastes pretty good.

    i hear that weight gainers really dont work, i think you could do the same by just eating like a horse

    Weight gainer is a waste of money and a good way to get fat.....


    Good clean food in large ammounts (if necessary) is a much better alternative.

    Well if i remember correctly it has 1250cals and 50g protein (per serving)

    I would go with dextrose/Malto and Protein and mix my own rather then gainer. U can mix the amount you need and its cheaper.

    Sorry but no one can digest 1250 calories a meal and not store some of it as fat. Total waste IMO

    yea, i was never fond of weight gainers... maybe good for super-ectos with hyperthyroidism.

    Lots of quality FOODs is the only real weight gainer I've been satisfied with. Much better 4 u 2. Just keep eating thru out the day and drink about 1 gallon of milk per day. Lots of meats, carbs, veggis, nuts, peanutbutter(natural is best), eggs, cottage cheese....stuff like that has helped me put on more muscle then anything else. Try it. Put your $$ to good use and spend it at the grocery store instead of GNC

    joshbeam,

    Your always preaching about milk, wich is a good thing. But im always worried about getting too much calcium and having it get stored in my kidneys. Im the type to worry about the future. Would'nt i get kidney stones from all the calcium i intake now?

    And as far as weightgainers. They really don't help with gaining quality muscle? Or the right nutrients? I'v been using weight gainers for a couple of years and sometimes i think twice if its really working.

    Milk is good for you and dont worry about the calcium.

    Gainers are good, although do them yourself. Pre/During and Post workout they have an important place.

    If you have slow metabolism, you shouldnt use gainers. But I was really impressed with Mega Mass 4000 especially as used as pre-workout shake, so I buy it every other month. Ectomorphs, try it and you ll be satisfied !!
