HELP with TRUEPROTEIN.com FLAVOR

i am ordering whey concentrate and going to choose my flavors, it allows for one free flavor.


I was going to go with grape flavor, should i add a sweetner to it aswell? or not needed, cuase i usually drink Optimum Nutritition chocolate and that has no sweetner, but i like grape flavor and gonna give it a try.

I get mine from there without any sweetners........just go with the flavor, it tastes great with just that.

If you order the 50lb deal (which is a nice savings) order it plain.

You will then be able to pick some flavour packs (3 or 5 of them I can't remember now) and you can flavour the protein yourself.

It saves you from getting bored of the same flavour all the time.

Also, if you don't like the grape, you don't want to have to toss the rest of the protein.

I hear the BSL flavours are amazing. I've never tried them yet, but the orange creamsicle is supposed to be pretty damn good.

Actually, it does have a sweetner: acesulfame potassium.

Let me know what you think of the trueprotein. I almost ordered some, but I'm picky about the flavors, so I decided to stick with ON chocolate until I heard more. I know that Easto loves most of their flavors but I think I'm more picky than him. In particular, I want to know how their chocolate compares to the ON chocolate. It would be good for me to switch and save some money.

Dante and Doug came out with an Email about a month ago. In it they stated that they are working with a top notch flavour guru. He is helping them work out some new flavours. I can't remember what they had in mind, but at the time I was pretty excited. Almost like JohnyJ when he heard that complaintant was dropping his sexual harassment charge.

If you decide to go with their grape flavor, trust me and DON'T add a sweetener, it's too sweet.

I get mine plain and sweetened with stevia, and I use the BSL flavor packs. Just right.

On does use a sweetener.....Ace K.

I havent tried grape myself, but Stevia or Sucralose are the way to go with the "free flavors".

Some people experience heart beat irregularities with asptartame and ace k....even when they dont experience anything with other products that contain it like proteins or diet coke.

I have never ordered my protein with sweeteren (neither did StoneCold) and it is plenty sweet!!!

IMO you don't need it!
