    Default Necessary Supplements?
I am fixing to do a bulker in a few months, but I was just curious from a lot of the guys on this board on what they consider the best supplements to take while on cycle or off. (Milk thistle, ALA, Glutamine, etc.) In simple terms, what supplements cant you guys live without? Stonecold, mranak, needsize, anyone???? Thanks again for all the great info on this site!

For me it would be protein, creatine, some sort of carb supplement like malto or dextrose and a whole lot of food.

"Necessasry supplements" is a huge oxymoron. Supplements are supplements, not essential. But supplements that hsve shown continuous benefits include, but arent limited to:

    Whey protein
    Milk Thistle
    Green Tea
    Creatine
    Multi vitamin/mineral
    ALCAR
    Tyrosine
    ephedrine
    Caffeine
    Yohimbine hcl
    fish or flax oil

Thanks Yellowjacket, I just started some green tea and I have been trying to cut and I really like the Yohimbine hcl. One more question, I read on some threads that Vitamin B5 helps with zits really well. I have B5 (pantothenic acid). They are 500mg. I have some zits on my shoulders that I would like to clear up, do you know how many mg would help. I heard too much can make your skin really dry.

    Ditto on that
Keep your diet interesting, boring diets make it difficult to succeed in building mass.

    'Necessary' - I would put a good multi-vitamin/mineral. A decent protein powder.

    Good to have: taurine, tyrosine

Things I'd like to look into more: fish oil or krill oil. I hear some conflicting things about them, and they seem so expensive.

I like EFA's the total efa is what I prefer to use from health from the sun. Its a staple for me. But I'm off of everthing right now. Just good 'ol food and I'm stabalizing at 270lbs its awesome this is huge since I'm going to make a push for 280 soon. So once I can hold 270 by only eating 3 times a day I'm going to crank it all back up for the rest of the summer.

Glutamine. I like Ultra pure Glutamine from VPX. Twirl your spoon twice and it's Dissolved. Also whey protein, but I'm sure you know that and EFA's. Creatine works for some people just I've never got anything good enough out of it to suggest it.

Whenever i want to bulk up I eat until I cant eat anymore. And i use Optimum Nutrition Whey, and I get it from the site sponsor, supplement-ology.com. It has always worked for me.
