    Default Shoulder Pain
What is the best supplement for joint/muscle pain, when I try to flex my shoulders my left shoulder hurts real bad, even if I do incline bench it hurts the doctors said there is no pulls or rips in the muscles, so I believe it is tendonitis, what would help with the pain so I can continue to workout.

once you're sure there is no structural damage, well heavy vitamin b dosages should help ( at least that's what i've been prescribed ) + serratio peptidasi ( silkworm enzyme ) as antiflogistig-antinflammatory.
    Then chondroitin-msm-glucosamine.

You have very slight tears in your rotator cuff, I went through the same thing and take some glucosamine and MSM. You really need to take some time off and not do anything that involves your shoulder, or you can be bull headed like I was and continue to workout and not heal. In the end I ended up taking 3 months off, which sucked really bad, I just did cardio and some legs. You might get away with still doing some decline & flat benching if it does not bother your shoulder. I suggest you learn some rotator cuff exercises to do and do them to help strengthen those tendons, and don't use a heavy weight. After I got better, I now do the rotator cuff exercised first thing before I do any kind of benching, and have organized by workout to reduce the total number of reps involving my shoulder.

I screwed up my shoulders - Sucks I know. Kepted me out of the gym for 1 & 1/2 years! I went to the doc and he gave me 500 mg iphropropen - came back and he gave me 700mg - came back AGAIN and he gave me a cort shot! Came back for a 4th time and he sent to to an Orth specialist - who gave me a cort shot, prescribed phys therapy. Last visit he said if I hurt again to come back for a scan ...

Again I was in pain. Each time it was getting worse. It got sooo bad that even if I didn't move I still had shooting pain.

I read an article on "prolotherapy." prolo is nothing more than injecting 'sugar-water' INTO the joint. I know this sounds strange but it works (it's been around for 3,000 years). Since there is little blood-flow IN the joint what happens is swelling within the joint which is caused by the increaed blood-flow - thus increased healing. The shot is painful and hurts for about 3 days after. Shots are taken every other week for 3 - 6 times.

One shoulder took 4 shots and the other 3. Hope this helps!

I forgot to mention, but I took 3 Aleve a day for quite some time also. A guy I work with had rotator cuff surgery and that is what his doc told him to take to get the inflamation out.

STAY WAY FROM THE KNIFE! Check into Prolotheapy first. What's the harm in getting a few shots in the shoulders? Once you get cut it's perm! Besides - there's more money to be made in $urgery! Your choice! Besides, don't forget the recovery time and physical therapy afterwards ... In Prolo you are encouraged to workout!

EFA's and the shoulder dislocate stretch

get cod liver oil. take about 4 tablespoons a day.

go to intensemuscle.com and do a search on the SD stretch.

i have had impingment issues for years and went to PT (didn't do much). the following worked for me.
