Default help, skinny needs to gain weight
I'm 5'8 125lbs 18 years old and you could see my rib cage. I work out but I need to gain weight also. A skinny gain workout out and gaining muscle doesn't look right. I know i have to eat but what about the weight gainers.

I heard of GNC 220 180, mass tech, and n-large 2. Any other suggestions

Please help me pick out the best overall weight gainer. I don't have that much $

Weight gainers are mostly tons of sugar and crap...although it seems that it could help when you dont want to eat solid food for 1 meal. MRP--meal replacements have a better proportion then gainers IMO.

I would never recommend that being your nutrition for most meals, yet most skinny individuals just stick to gainers and still dont gain except excess fat.

Bro easily said, you gotta double the amount of food you eat and spread out more meals throughout the day (lets say 6-7 meals per day).

Although, this can also be a genetic factor where your metabolism is extremely over productive, in turn burning tons of cals when not needed and is lost. So double the amount and it should give you those lost cals needed to add some weight.

You can also take some creatine to add some pounds, but do this if your serious about training not to just add some weight.

I was in a similar position. I have a high metabolism and needed to bulk for a show. Eat seven small meals a day with about half of them mrp's. Throw in nuts and oatmeal and you will steadily gain weight. Look on the back of the food packaging and total your protein, carbs and fat. You should take in about3500-4000 calories a day. A little more than the reccomended 2.2G of protien everyone suggests but your metabolic rate is high. Also don't buy shit fromGNC. They are way too expensive. Try 1fast400.com it will save you some cash. When your 18 you need all the money you can save.

Skip the supplements all together and eat a LOT more. It really is that simple. Eat whole natural foods (whole eggs, whole milk, steak, etc).

Eat more, good healthy food and change your workout to core exercises only --squats, deads, bench, get more rest and you will put on some weight.
