Default Has creatine caused this to happen?
I can do 1 hour on the cross-trainer on an 'every other day' basis easily.

I am also on a low carb diet and have been for 3 months.

All has been going well, I am dropping about 1-2 lb's a week and I am happy with the progress. Currently I am 210 lb's at 6ft

Now the weird thing is that I started taking creatine on Monday, and by Wednesday I was having trouble getting to 1 hour and today (Friday I managed to do 30 mins and that was about it!!!)

Also, I expected to catch some water weight gain in the loading phase and have actually lost 3 lb's WTF???

So what gives, should I drop the creatine completely for the benefit of my cardio?

My leg muscles where really hard after the 30 mins today which is why I think I couldn't go on...but as I am new to creatine I would love to hear advice from someone with more experience.

    Thanks!

The diet has been fine, in fact I am in such a routine with the food that I would have to rule out diet as being an intervening variable.

I may actually be eating a little more as I added a post workout protein shake each day I am at the gym but apart from that the calorie intake is exactly the same on a daily basis give or take 100 cals

If you are taking the creatine pre workout its probably giving you a spike and after the 30 minutes you could feel the crash. Check the sugar in the creatine see if its high. You could just take it post workout.

How would creatine cause a crash?

Some creatines have a high amount of sugar in them to give you the necessary insulin spike to deliver the creatine more efficiently. So if the creatine was taken prior to the workout you could see a crash during the cardio.

If the creatine doesnt have alot of sugar then I couldn't tell you why you see a loss in stamina.

i dont see how this would be associated to higher levels of creatine as there is more ATP "sources"
