It's debatable as to whether M1T does. Some claim it's a progestin, but there is not clinical (professional or otherwise) studies that indicate this. However, rise in prolactin levels was observed, which could lead to water retension with M1T.

1ad is not supposed to convert to estrogen, and it's a pretty safe bet on the latter statement, as it is pretty much universally agreed upon because it is a diol (1-androstene-3beta, 17beta-diol), and diols are unable to aromatise into estrogen. It's a derivative of DHT, and has already undergone a 5 alpha reductase reaction, so it can't convert with that enzyme, either.

i will say that i can say from wat i see that m1t causes water retention. all of my friends who have used it have had some sort of water retention. i men it is a testosterone so there has to be some water retention form the contraversial estrogen that may or may not be caused by the m1t. ne ways from wat iv seen m1t causes some water retention no matter wat, in some cases a lot of water, in others, hardly any.
