    Angry Protein causing stomach pain
Last year I had H.Pylori a stomach bacteria. Anyway This year I thought it came back but apparently the pain is only there when I drink this protein shake I have. It's a low carb one, and last year when I had the pain I was on the same one. Do any of you know of or experienced this yourselves? If so anybody have an info on this?

I have had trouble with protein powders in the past, mainly gas and cramps. Optimum Nutrition protein seems to be fine for me try it I mix mine with whole milk and I have no digestive problems.

You know what....It's that Whey Protein isolate that kills me too. Maybe I should try a different kind.

you may be lactose intolerant. i had the same problems until i realized i was LI, then switched over to pure (read: not blended) whey isolate. make sure its not a combination of concentrate and isolate. iso has a higher biological value (iso: 90-98% protein, con: 70-85%), and is pretty much lactose free, which means its alot easier on your body. no problems so far, so long as i get in some fibre.
