Greetings all,
got some blook work results today and turns out I have slightly low HDL cholesterol (the good kind). doc says it should be at least 40, mine is 36.
anyone know of any good supps that will raise this value? flax seed oil? other essential fatty acids? what about whole foods? (maybe I should ask the diet forum about that one).
when I had my blood drawn, I wasn't taking any extra EFA, but since then I have been taking flax seed oil. I plan to take another blood test in maybe two months or so.
Any information appreciated. thanks.
