“A hit with the kids and you can use the leftovers for the next day’s meatloaf sandwiches”

    Preparation Time: 15 minutes

Baking and cooking time: 1 hour

    Ingredients

    2 pounds lean ground beef
    2 free range eggs
    ¼ cup ketchup
    2 tablespoons Grey Poupon mustard
    2 tablespoons molasses
1 ½ cup shredded red cabbage
    2 ounces Worchester sauce
    ½ cup bread\ crumbs
    1 large white onions
2 cloves garlic peeled, crushed and finely diced
    1 teaspoon sea salt
    ½ teaspoon ground black pepper

    Preparation

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F. *In a large mixing bowl add the ground beef, eggs, ketchup, mustard, molasses, onions, garlic, bread crumbs and Worchester sauce and mix thoroughly.* In your loaf pan (13X 9X 2) place all the shredded cabbage to cover the bottom then add the entire ground beef mixture on top and pat down gently to set in place. *Bake for around 1 hour. When finished remove from oven and set aside to allow it to cool off for 10 minutes.* Very carefully place a large platter plate big enough to cover the entire top of the baking loaf pan. Then very carefully and with both hands flip over until the platter is on the table and carefully, be sure not to burn yourself, lift the now flipped over baking loaf pan up and set aside. *You should now have the cabbage on top. *Allow to cool for 10 more minutes, and then serve with mashed potatoes and veggies.
