Preparation: 5 minutes
Cooking time 1o minutes
Ingredients for sauce
3 tablespoons ketchup
2 ½ teaspoons cornstarch
1/8 teaspoon crushed red peppers
½ teaspoon ground ginger
5 tablespoons water
1 ½ tablespoons soy sauce
3 tablespoons canola oil
1/8 teaspoon sesame oil
1 tablespoon honey
5 cloves garlic peeled and finely diced
Pinch of sea salt
2 cups pre cooked white rice hot and ready to serve
2 tablespoons sesame seeds GARNISH
Other ingredients
½ cup green onions finely diced
1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
3 tablespoons canola oil
Preparation
Place in a large mixing bowl all the ingredients for the sauce and mix until blended and set aside. *Heat a large frying pan to high and wait for it to get hot, around 3 minutes, then add the canola oil, then the garlic and onions.* Spread around and add the shrimp and allow to cook untouched for 1 ½ minutes then turn the shrimps over and cook for 1 and a half minutes more then add the Szechuan sauce until the sauce begins to bubble and thicken.
Place your hot rice on a plate and add the shrimp with the sauce over it Garnish with sesame seeds and serve.
