He says:
My full name is Sami Ebrahim al Haddad and I was born on 24 June 1973, in Muharraq, Bahrain. Today I live in Manama, Bahrain, which is the capital.
I started training in 1991, when I was 18 years old. I started competing in 1992 because I wanted to show the others what I have got and to prove to myself that the sport would reward me if I trained hard enough. I like bodybuilding because I like being and I 've found many friends - they are all strong, BIG!
I want to become a pro bodybuilder and win the big shows, which is easy to say but hard to acheive. I am willing to do what it takes. My grandma says to me "if they can do it, you can do it."
I train at Ghassan's gym - it's a big place with state of the art equipment. In the off season, I do one body part a day. I also have done some martial arts since I was eleven years old and occasionally include some of that kind of exercise too. Contest preparation is intense and I train twice a day:
Day 1 - AM: Chest, PM:Arms
Day 2 - AM: Shoulders, PM: Back
Day 3 - AM: Quads, PM: Hamstrings and Calves
I also do abs every other day with cardio.
