shoo, not to be an ass but where the hell have you been, say the last 15 years? Bodybuilding is now a sport of massmonsters. Ronnie, Ruhl, Nasser, Atwood, Cutler, James, Cutler....the list goes on. People want freaks and the freak wins eveytime!

No it's not the people who want monsters, but the jusges.
Your not going to say Gunter is a Icon now are you????????????????????????
Gunter is more appréciate by people in general, especially people who are not appreciate this sport. He is doing lots of commercials, ... Things that a"monster" should not done because of there mass.
The people don't want to see monsters???????????????????????????????????
Bro, seriously, how long have you been watching the sport? People want to be in awe of a physique. I dont mind a Shawn Ray, Dexter Jacksn look, but to me, Ruhl and Coleman make my jaw drop and down right shock me. Hence, the past Olympia winners. i seriously doubt even 25% of fans like the more mainstream look!
granted the pros today have achieved incredable and unimaginable things, I still would say BBs from 70s looked much better hands down. Franco, Zane, Arnold, all of them were very big and muscular but had symetry to go with it. Guys today look like odd shaped refridgerators. But dont get me wrong, I do not take credit from todays guys, no everyone can do it.
Bimmer, sorry again. Arnold was far from symetrical. Upper body was good(back width not great) but his legs were horrendous. Arnold was very overrated! Look at the 1980 Mr. O pics in this section. If you can honestly say he deserved 1st then you know nothing about the sport! Franco was symetrical! Sergio blew Arnold out of the water and far as bodybuilding goes!
