    Default Kimbos upcoming bout against Ken Shamrock
    I wonder... Is there a reason to why all kimbos opponents in his professional career come from a:

    Cantrell had a loss streak of 5 before his matchup with Kimbo
    Tank abbott had lost 7 of his previous 8 fights
    Thompson had a loss strike of 3
    ken shamrock have lost all his previous 5 fights

    I mean can they make it any clearer that they are rising this guy to fame on has beens?

    At least try to match him up with some guys at his age and in decent shape...

    Ya, I agree.. I don't follow EliteXC much but what the hell happened to him fighting that big young black dude who called him out on that CBS card???
    I think one of the issues is also the lack of talent within EliteXC's heavyweight Division.

    in march ken lost to Robert "Buzz" Berry, who's lost to Neil Grove twice, who knocked out James "The Colossus" Thompson in the first round...

    i hope ken wins the fight, and ends all this kimbo hype... i'll watch it.

    oh ya, i forgot about that. Brett said he'd dominate kimbo in the first round, no problem, and that kimbo tapped out vs thompson... and he said all that right after the fight.

    I hate to say I like Kimbo, being that I'm a serious MMA guy and should know better. But, I absolutely love "El guapo" AKA "The sultan of swat" AKA Bas Rutten and I hope to God that he can make him a better fighter. His hype is exciting to watch.

    Having said that, I think that he is a bum right now and has been fighting tomato cans. Unfortunately, I HATE "Shamcock" and my money is on him anyway. If he's smart, he won't throw one ****ing punch and just shoot from the entrance hall and attempt takedowns. If this fight goes to the ground, IT'S OVER! Ken knows his shit on the ground and if Kimbo doesn't knock him out in the firts round than he's a goner.

    gotta pull for ken on this one. kimbo's gas ran out against the guy with the nasty ear and it appeared kimbo would killed by a real fighter.

    I totally agree with this statement! Kimbo is pulling in some serious cash for EliteXC and if he gets stomped who then do they have? I think just about every heavyweight in the UFC would beat Kimbo, I mean his ground game is poor and he doesn't have a lot in the gas tank. They are pulling in some top notch in their day but now washed up competition for him to beat up to blow his name up in the MMA world. You do have to remember though Kimbo is still new to the MMA game so throwing him in with Chuck, Rampage, Forrest, etc. would be like throwing him to the wolves IMO.
