Default Mir and Nog to fight
UFC announced this week that Antonio Noguiera and Frank Mir will be the next two coaches on next seasons Ultimate Fighter. I love Frank Mir but his conditioning is probably the worst in MMA, of course not counting Travis "no gas" Lutter. I think Mir can still pull it off though.

But this brings up another question. Isn't the UFC just ****ing spewing this show out way too fast. I myself am ****ing sick of seeing UFC cards lined with Lodan Cincaids and Charles McCarthys. If you suck on the show... thats it. Go somewhere and die. It's obvious that some of these douches are not cut out. Get rid of them UFC. Dana says they have a problem with having too much talent and thats why they're considering not renewing contracts like Koscheck, Swick, Tito and Silvia(good decision, he's a giant douche). Cut the fat Dana.

I tend to agree.. the only thing I can come up with is that it's giving them young untapped and mediocre talent that they (UFC/Zuffa) can groom to their liking. This also gives them control of how the sport evolves AND they can still get away without paying shit...IMHO Kind of like College football, TUF is like the pool of freshman or highschool recruits. That's ok though, because all these new MMA schools/teams popping up everywhere like American Top Team, Team Quest, Elite, Militich Fighting Systems, LA-Boxing, Extreme Couture, etc, etc.. will be turning out a whole new breed of fighter that should dominate the sport.

So now we don't get a HW title shot for how many months? We have to wait for them to tape the show, the air the show, then we get to see a title shot. It's stupid.

And I too think they run too many shows with too many inexperienced people. They need to have like a 10 fight pro career (with a winning record) minimum to get on the show.

Too many guys that are 3-2 or 2-0 WOW!!!

Mir doesnt have a chance against Nog.

Nog cannot be KO'ed nor sumbitted, you need to be a smart fighter that knows how to control the fight to beat him only via a decision, ie; Fedor.

That does kind of blow, having to wait that long for a HW title fight. Maybe it's a stall tactic while trying to reconcile with Randy??

..and I saw some losing records as well some frigin 0-0's in there!! C'mon. And one of my Team mates that didn't make it through auditions has a 9-1 pro record and at one point held a title belt for a small pro mma organization. But they don't want that.. he's too good I guess. Hmmmmmm

They are pushing the HW title back because the Heavyweight division is absolutely barren right now. Think about it, there are about 3 good heavyweights and 3 or 4 that might show up to fight on a given day, or might just end up fatting against the cage for 3 rounds. It's pathetic. I agree that Mir has no chance against Nog. He doesn't have the standup to take him and he certainly doesn't have the jiu jitsu prowess.

I think most the guys that come out of TUF should go straight to the WEC.
