It's alarming that only only about a third of all people suffering from depression seek treatment, depression can really disrupt & affect someone's life. This was a great article, hopefully it helps some recognize the symptoms & seek help.

I agree Bullseye, depression is a difficult disease to suffer from, now days life is so stressful, and fast paced, it's easy to ignore or not recognize the symptoms of depression.

Glad to see your doing better

Well, that's a great philosophy, to take life one a day at a time , I think most people have had their share of depression/axiety at some point in their lives.. the important thing is to realize when it's happening & to deal with it.

Life is so stressful now days, I have a lot of patience, & can deal with stress pretty well, but I do get my moments where everything seems to be happening at the same time, and I feel overwhelmed & on the edge, like if I'm runing on emergency mode..lol
Life is so unpredictable & when things happen that affect our balance we let it get the best of us.
For me, I've learned to recognize my stress levels, when I feel I'm about to loose it, I step back, take a deep breath & then realize things are not so bad..

I tell you, modern life now days is meant to stress anyone, you got the kids in school, they get sent like 3 hours of homework a day each, because teachers are depending on the parents to be the "teachers", then u got school projects, afterschool activities, sports, etc, etc, etc ..
Parents feel preassured to have their kids excell in everything.. and this is a big stress causer.. I push my kids & help them in every aspect, but, I've learned that sometimes is best to relax & enjoy them, makes everyone happier.
Sorry about the long post, hope I didn't stress u ..lol

U keep focused on today & enjoy it as much as u can, tomorrow is another day & opportunity
