Default Was this a good/bad Fantasy Pick?
Hey guys, drafted my team last night...Very Solid from top to bottom except maybe at QB. Picked Jon Kitna as my qb1 after the first tier qb's were gone. He had more attempts and completions than anyone in the league last year, over 4200 yards and has Roy Williams and Calvin Johnson as targets so I went with the numbers over the bigger names (ie Leinart, Young, Romo, Cutler, etc.). Still I don't follow the Lions and only remember this guy struggling with the Bengals. Can anyone tell me if he's really worth a shit?

He's typically ranked from #7-10 in most formats. I had him #7 on my cheatsheet. What round did you get him in?

drop rod smith (hes going to be a #3 or 4 and pick up dennis northcut if you can. NC is most likely going to be the #1 in jax this year after williams gets cut

Thanks for the heads up...I knew Rod Smith was on the outs, but at that point in the draft everyone is obsolete...I'm going to see if Northcut's available.

ha...yah...he fumbled at the goal line in the game last night in the first round of the draft and he's not as well known down here. I was very happy with my Top 5. 2 Star RB's and all WR's are All Pro caliber #1 options on their teams.

My only real second guesses are that I could have picked Leinart or Cutler (I'm a Broncos fan) instead of Kitna, and I could have picked Matt Schaub, QB, HOU (I live in Houston and he is on fire this preseason) instead of Brady Quinn. I went with Quinn because I like the guy, he benches 225x24...fellow lifter, very endearing trait, and Kitna doesn't have a bye until week 6. I think Quinn will be starting by then. Culpepper is still on the waiver wire too.

You definately made the correct QB1 choice, no question. IMO Quinn will be huge (even on the Browns) once he gets the helm. I'd avoid Culpepper like the plague (I'm from MN).

I agree on Jordan and their pass-D is scary good.

Only one problem...I think I could play on their O-line as a walk on

overall a solid draft, but these picks are terrible.

your midround picks 8 to 12 could have been much, much stronger.
