Default WTF are they doing to my Bears...
First they trade off Jones...now they're basically pushing Briggs out...

    http://www.chicagobears.com/news/New...?story_id=3137

Feeling restricted by the tag (franchise player), Briggs told ESPN.com that he no longer wants to play for the Bears.

“There’s a difference between the Chicago Bears team and the Chicago Bears organization,” Briggs said in his first public comments about the situation.

“The Chicago Bears team? The coaches, players, city and fans? Yeah, I could stay there forever. I love it. But the Chicago Bears organization? I don’t want to be there anymore. I won’t play for them and I’ll do everything in my power to keep from playing there.”

now...how the hell is Jones only worth 26 places in the draft??

Those two formalities finalized Monday night’s trade that sent Jones and the Bears’ second-round draft pick (No. 63 overall) to New York in exchange for the Jets’ second-round draft pick (No. 37 overall).

OUCH...Its like theyre dismantling a Superbowl team!!!!!

I dont understand it either and all that franchise tag is gonna do is have him on the sidelines faking an injury.

Randy Moss and jerry porter wanted out of Oakland.....they wanted to keep em...Porter faked injury all season and Moss just jogged around on the field during the game and did as little as possible.

yeah...they didn't re-sign Rivera and they've even hired four new assistant coaches...Angelo is even having to come out and say “I know on the outside it looks like we want to dismantle the team. It has nothing to do with that. We want to keep this the best possible football team that we can, and that’s what we’re trying to do.”

I dont know one person that understands how he keeps his job.

He was awesome as a Linebacker for the Raiders and has two Superbowl rings to show for it but as a GM....he may be the worst in history....

As for the Bears I just dont understand it.

Tank is now serving 4 months jail time...

    http://www.chicagobears.com/news/New...?story_id=3178

Bears defensive tackle Tank Johnson on Thursday was sentenced to 120 days in jail by Cook County Circuit Court Judge John J. Moran for a probation violation stemming from a 2005 gun charge.

Johnson was immediately taken into custody after Moran delivered the sentence, which also included a $2,500 fine and 84 days of home confinement that have already been served.

With good behavior, Johnson is expected to serve half of the sentence, or 60 days. He could have received up to a year in jail.

Despite the ruling, Johnson’s job with the Bears remains secure.

lol @ ngrs with guns and enough ammunition to start WWIII. Plus a 300lb man with a "self proclaimed" bodyguard who got nailed for dealing MASSIVE amounts of weed only to end up dead in a night club a week later.

    Love me some Tank Johnson

Problem is....no "Juice" and most prisons no longer have weights.

He'll come out 40 lbs lighter.

Im amazed at the news with a Bear either leaving, or wanting to sit out the season etc......

    Packers, Vikings, Lions...

I don't think they have anything to worry about in winning their division once again...

Favre hasn't been good in atleast five years (he only keeps playing in a desperate, self-centered attempt to break Marino's TD record).

Who the hell is the Vikings' starting QB?

    The Lions..well...enough said.

You obviously have never been to the Cook County Jail...

His size means NOTHING in there.
