Its dumb to be so quick to say what's so wrong with Franklin instead of praising Silva who absolutely dominated. Franklin just didn't have enough strength to get away from him. I have never seen someone dominate with the knees so efficiently. Great job by Silva, I knew betting on that would prove fruitful.

hes a great striker, that leben fight it was over in about 10 seconds. Every punch he threw landed and did damage

Silvas is a class B Pride fighter. Maybe I should say he WAS a class B Pride fighter. He's a Cheute Box trained fighter with good muay thai skills. I knew he was supposed to be a BJJ black belt, but I didn't know he got the belt from Nog. They said that last night in the broadcast.
MT has been a small part of the UFC, but there has been no serious MT practitioner to really press it. Now it looks like MT will be a new thing again. lol
Rich had no answer for the clinch. After the first shot to the liver, the fight was over. You could actually see the fight leave Rich after that shot. It looked like water running out of a bag after poking a hole in it.
Rich was a great champion and one of my top two favorite fighters in the UFC. He just had no answer for Silva's clinch and his MT skills.
Silva looked strong as an ox last night. His strikes were accurate and HARD. His knees looked awesome. Congrats to him for the win.

theres an obvious difference in the comparison to ufc and pride. A HUGE DIFFERENCE

see you down in AR bay..
It was a fluke. Franklin looked like he was operating at about 20%. There'll be a re-match.

Just exactly where is my idiotacy founded? My finite mind is having trouble resolving the same conclusions. Afterall, in every Franklin fight I've witnessed it was a completely different situation. A much more aggressive yet tactfully defensive fighter. I didn't see that all in this fight (granted it was seconds long), even his body language suggested he hadn't came to play. Hense, my thinking he was at 20% even before the fight began.
Would you make the same bet three months from now should there be a rematch?

I thought Franklin would take Silva down and destroy him. Hopefully he will be smarter about it for the rematch. It will be fun to watch him tear apart his next opponent to get back to title contention.

Franklin didn't look that great before the fight started and Silva just dominated. Those body blows looked vicious and when he got his nose broken there was no fight left in him.

there was no fire in Rich's eyes at all. didnt even look like he was fighting. if u ask me he laid down for the fight to make more money in the rematch. Rich wasnt defending himself at all.

He took quite a beating to make some extra cash considering he's already loaded.

For those who don't know, Anderson Silva is also a BJJ blackbelt, trained by the Nog brothers. So he would likely eat Rich alive on the ground as well.
Silva's striking is light years ahead of Rich's.
If they have a rematch, I hope it is far off into the future, so Rich can learn some muay thai. Rich is one of my favorite fighters, and I would hate to see him go against Silva any time soon.
He had absolutely no answer for the clinch, and he was getting dominated there. Once, I saw him try to go for the clinch and Silva gladly accepted...then commenced to bombarding rich's guts with knees.
I believe Rich did look a little off before and during the fight. However, I don't think the best Rich franklin we have ever seen would have lasted much longer against Silva that night.

I love when people get "called out" - and bust onto the scene with beautifully composed works of literary art - such as to slay thier e-foe. You however chose not to correct many grammar and spelling errors. Trying to keep it real?

I was depressed when I seen that fight because Rich didn't even look like he wanted to be there. The way he was carrying himself, his attitude...not of a champion fighter. He'll come back with a vengence. I know what ****ed him up...it was the first time that his wife's parents were there to see him fight in person...that alone could f!ck any champion up.

Haven't you just done exactly that?
"Thier" is spelled "Their". Also, you start your reply in third-person plural "I love when people.." and end in second-person plural "You however.."
Whoops!

franklin didn't look like he wanted to fight at all. Anderson just dominated b/c of it, the guys on TUF 4 i can't see beating him for the belt, so there will be a rematch proably in dec or something
