    Default tuna and mercury ???
I have been hearing alot lately about mercury poisoning from canned tuna. Ive also read that the recommended dose of canned tuna is not to exceed like 2-3 cans per week. which is crazy to me, because i usually eat 3 cans for one meal; roughly twice a day, every other day. thats like upwards of 18 cans a week.
can anyone supply further info on mercury poisoning and if i am screwing myself with my weekly intake of tuna?
    thanks.

holy shit.. 3 cans per meal?? do you have the 140 g cans or smaller?

18 cans might be overdoing it. if not for the mercury issue so at least for your tastebuds.

plenty of data and advisories for mercury levels in tuna
    moderation is key

thing is mercury accumulates in the body over time, so problems most likely wont show now, but down the road instead

iirc light tuna has less mercury content than the others
