I thought it was best to take in some slow burning carbs before your workout? Like eat an apple with a protein shake. Then hit the Gym. Would Waxy Maize be beneficial to take with my protein shake instead of apple, or BOTH?
PWO Nutrition, I take in 75g protein PWO. If I bought some waxy maize could I just put in like 150g carbs into my shake? I seen on a few posts that people were NOT putting waxy maize into their whey. Why is that?
