    Default Gear & Beer question
    I have A serious issue here...

    I am hopelessly addicted to beer although I have'nt noticed any hindering to my body building I am now concearned about the use of gear while I drink around 10 beers A day.

    I have never asked about this and like I said I know it's A serious problem so please dont be an ass to me, I just need opinions and posible solutions.

    Havent given us much to go on here like what type of gear, stats etc.

    Anyhow its well known that drinking reduces test levels but to be honest I dont know if that would really be a major problem if your injecting test.

    The only thing that comes to mind is if your using orals and drinking then your gonna put some serious stress on your liver.

    Your concernted about drinking while on gear but whats your question?

    The question is..
    Is it harmfull to my health to use gear if im gonna be drinking..

    Stats:
    35 years old
    185lbs
    10 years working out

    Gear: 30 mg dianabol/per day
    200 mg deca durabolin/per week

    i would say drinking in those amount are harmful to your health period.

    Ditto.. I'd be more worried about your addiction to alcohol. Most of us like to pound a few when on cycle, but 10 beers a day is a serious problem.. whether on gear or not!
    Besides, drinking that much and your not fully feeling all the GOODNESS of running a cycle...IMHO I mean, try nix'ing the beer, eat healthy/clean, and intensify your workouts for only like 4 weeks.. you'll feel amazing!! Much better then half cocked all the time. Live the good life brutha!! I know I do and feel amazing!

    Agreed that amount of drinking needs to be addressed first. If you run orals aswell your setting yourself up for some problems possibley serious.

    Thankyou so much for the kind words, especialy jayC...

    It sucks trying to do this mind trick with the bottle. I've been pushin weights all my life, but I started hitting them 3-4 times A week hard about ten years Ago when I lost my son in A divorce.

    Example I work out with 300lbs bench press for reps, but I hit that wall where I want to do more... I'm gonna drop the dbol for my livers' sake, and I'll have to taper off the beer, it's the only way and maybe with A bit of encouragement I can ditch the bottle alltogether.

    I still appreciate any help/advice!

    too bad to hear about your son. I cant even immagine what thats like.

    About your cycle I'm not an expert but Its pretty standard to use a bit of test as base.
    and deca shuts you down pretty much. Ive heard of qite a few cases where they get limpdicked due to very low levels of test in your system. I think 250 mg a week should be enough to save you from deca-dick though but you could go higher too.

    and keep us updated with your progress.

    Oh, well hell, I didn't catch that... if your not running test, that could be half your problem bro!! Get on some Test, ASAP!! Your world will brighten and your mood will greatly enhance. Between the testless cycle and the alcohol, I bet your natty test levels are in the dumps!!! It's the fountain of youth and life for men! That should also help give you the confidence to drop the beer.

    Suspention, propionate, cypionate, enanthate.....

    prop you have to inject like every other day or at the very least every 3rd. for simplicity i would use cyp or enthenate wich can be injected once a week..

    how does this drinking 10 beers go? you sit back and watch tv and down 10 in a row? you drink 10 one at a time over the course of the day?

    ultimately, its not going to kill you but you are going to be healthier and look better without it. its all about priorities. you arent addicted to beer. you just prioritize the beer over optimal health. thats your call.

    Could you stop drinking today if you wanted to? If not, you are an alcoholic and you have bigger issues than what gear to run. Alcohol + AAS will take a huge tole on your body.

    I would get the drinking under control (eliminated) and give your liver a rest.

    Last few statement rang home for me fellas. There's two things that get me high, pumpin up and gettin A buzz...
    I guess I have to decide which is better/wiser?

    I'll have to fight to keep from drinking. It's funny that it's just an automatic thing. Not something I need to do because I'm depressed, acutually I'm really happy with my life, I just like gettin buzzed too much....

    If anyone has had the same experience PLEASE let me know how you overcame this, I know it's bad for me and I know that it's just A mental thing.

    CaptainAwesome: I drink 3-4 and do like some curls until I cant anymore, then drink 3-4 more and press untill I cant do anymore, then drink A couple more with dinner and thats it for the night....

    I was like 120-130lbs in my early 20's I'm now 190 and 35 years old, 34" waist, 16" arms and like 15% B.F.

    So you actually drink while lifting? I gotta say, thats hardcore. Bonaduche style. lol. In all seriousness, I've kinda always felt that the liver toxicity thing, associated with orals, is a bit exaggerated on the boards etc. However, I do know that 10 beers a day is very unhealthy all on its own, so I would be very concerned about the condition of my liver if I were you. This coming from a person who is pretty wreckless w/ my cycles and my life in general. Also, i absolutely agree that you need to be on some kind of test. Doesn't matter which ester, just make sure you know how often you need to shoot whatever kind you get and you use it appropriately. You can use a minimal dosage if you're just looking to keep mental normality etc., even 300mg a week or maybe even less would be fine.

    One more thing, if you drink b/c of depression, anxiety, whatever, see a doctor, tell him how much you drink and why. I wouldn't mention the gear if I were you though. See if he can give you a script or refer you to someone who can for some kind of mood stabilizer or mild tranquilizer or whatever would fit. I'm not a big fan of drugs to fix emotional problems but anything would be better than 10 beers a day.


    edit: My apologies, i just reread your last post and saw that you said it wasnt cuz of depression. Regardless you need to at least keep it to the weekends or something, lol.

    I somehow missed this info. I thought alcohol sort of boosted test lvls. At least it feels like it, when drunk.

    Ofc, if ur drinking every day and are more or less "saloon drunk" all day, I guess that makes you an alcoholic.

    I drink pretty much once a week, unless on a strict diet, and also on 'special' occasions.
    I do care about my health and stuff, but on drinking days, I have no boundaries. And I wouldn't stop drinking all together for anything in the world. I just couldn't do it. Does this, in your book, make me an alcoholic aswell?

    ACID : Alcohol makes your body release LH, which I'm not sure, but I think may actually be b/c your body notices the lack of test due to alcohol consumption. I know what you mean about feeling it though, I'm much more the sexual beast after a 6 pack than I am otherwise, and that's not just in my head. lol

    hehe, yea, i mean, who doesnt get more confident and more horny and whatnot when drunk? I just thought it had something to do with test boost..

    I work out in the morning sober all sets untill failure. I get home from work aroud 4:00 PM and this is my drinkin time, I just like to hit the weights between A few beers...

    damn bro, i have same problem not with beer though... before i used to only drink (liquor) when i worked (djin) lately ive been working alot almost every night, and every night i tell my girl no tab no tab we are not drinking i end up getting ****ed up all by myself, on and off cycle ive been doing this :/ never had any problems health wise so far... knock on wood... i found out leaving your wallet at home is the best solution...

    I know what your going through, bro. I myself have been a heavy drinker for years. Mostly due to boredom, but then it quickly became habit.

    I haven't had a drop in about a month now. I must say my mind is much clearer. It took a lot for me to quit. I almost lost my wife, business, everything. It was hard for the first 3 weeks not to pick up a drink. I had cold sweats at night, I'd get nervous and anxious, the whole shabang. Now that I'm over the month point it's getting easier and easier as the days go on. Grant it I still want to drink when I have a bad day, but I remind myself of all that I almost lost (and ended my ass in jail for a week and still have to go to court) and all that I still could lose.

    I'm just 1 measly month dry, so I'm not trying to preach and please don't take it that way. But now that I am dry my work-outs have been much improved, memory is better and although I can't see it I'm sure my liver is giving me a BIG thumbs up.

    Now, instead of sitting around drinking I'll go to the movies or hit the gym again. And you wouldn't believe how much money I'm saving from not buying booze every day. More money for gear and supps!

    It's no cake walk, but believe me, you'll feel much better in the bigger scheme of things.

    I hope you work this out, bro. It's VERY possible. Shit, if I can do it ANY-****IN'-BODY can! Mind over matter. If you don't mind, it won't matter.

    Have you ever had your blood checked? I know when i used to drink 6-8 beers a day i had elevated liver values and i hadnt touched steroids yet. Gear will make that worse.
