then you generally want to stay above 100g per day to stay out of ketosis. Above that, theres really no limit assuming you are meeting your caloric intake goals. Meet your protein goals, get 20-30% of your calories from fat, then let carbs make up the rest. This is a very basic, generic recommendation.

This is a good read on carb intake:

A lot of people like the program. I didnt so much. But when I did follow it (i followed it to a T for quite a while) I was probably doing some goofy shit like taking calories too low, going overboard on the refeeds, and doing too much of Lyles stubborn fat protocol -which involves yohimbine, intervals, and steady state cardio- which i imagine just burned me out and caused me to lose a shit ton of muscle. I did get lean though.

I think if i gave it another run during my next cut and didnt make the same mistakes I would have more success. But I dont plan on using it again because Im such a fan of Intermittent Fasting.

I can honestly recommend the book and the program, though. Its a great program and you will learn a lot.

Lyle now has a stubborn bodyfat protocol book too. I dont have it yet but will definitely be getting it.
