How much protein one can actually digest in a sitting is always a widely debated topic. I've heard that if you eat too much it will end up being stored as fat. (feel free to clarify this thought as well) I was wondering if you end up eating too many carbs in one sitting if it would have the same effect.
i ask this question because often times i will eat a shitload of carbs in one sitting but then adjust my other meals to fit my goals, and i wanna know if this is ok.

It would seem to me that it applies to anything with calories. The idea of only being able to digest so much protein in one sitting probably has to do with how many calories your taking in at one time. Kind of a in-direct relationship to it being protein. I could be incorrect about this - but it would seem to make the most sense.

bigger meals take longer to digest, thats all. The Ileal brake mechanism slows digestion for better nutrient absorption.
