    a small snack. dont over-do it as a large insulin spike will cause you to feel less than optimal

    Not much.. typically, I try and eat a meal/whole foods 2-3 hours before training. Something like Tuna, wholegrain toast/bread, and a little light mayo. Then right before if I'm feeling a little too empty I might munch on a little granola. Then before heading to the gym or MMA I'll drink a little caffeine and take some Amino caps. that's about it.

    I eat 2-3 bananas and drink 30 g of proteinpowder.
    Works well for me, I think it does more for my energy level than f.eks oatmeal and proteinpowder before working out.

    Some fruit and TP's buzz saw.

    As mentioned above, I like to eat a good meal a few hours (no more than 2) before training and allow it to start digesting.
