Default Last week out of the show
First of all I want to introduce myself, I ran across you board and seen alot of interesting info. I hope to gain a much knowledge as I can with my career change. I oppologize if I am intoducing myself in the wrong place, but I didnt see any introduction place here. I KNOW THAT ON MANY FORUMS WHEN THEY SEE A LONG POST LIKE THIS THEY DONT EVEN READ IT, PLEASE TRY TO FINISH READING IT.

I have been in competitive powerlifting for many year and I am seeking a change. I need everones professional imput on bodybuilding. Its a big change for me, I have been getting ready since January. I had to go through a dramatic change in my body compisition as you can imagine, comming from powerlifting into bodybuilding.

I read so much different info in regards to the last week out. I am not to overwelmed, just a little unsure. I read much info regarding shitloading, carb loading, ect.. I am not sure which way to turn. Now I know that some of you guys get paid for giving this information out, so I want to say first off that I am not trying to step on your toes at all. I just need some help, and figured what better way than from some of the pro's on the net. I am 33 years old, 22 years off training exp, body fat pretty low, right now that isnt a concern for me. height 5"8, weight 175lb. I dont need everyone to give me the greatest info in the world, just some that I can learn from with trail and error and correct if needed. I just need a basic last weeks regima to go from that will help me get accustomed to and adjust if necessary. first of all I want to let you know that I am not going in natural, I do use gear. here are some of my questions.
1 when do I stop the gear\what day of the week
2 how do I minipulate my carbs, and what do I start out at and end up with that week.
3 when do I stop my workout completely
4 I think that my water should be about 2 gallons all the way to wed, then how much do I cut out.
5 Friday, I think that I stop my water at around 4:00 on friday, is that when I start carb loading or shit loading?
6 Saturday morning if my pre judging is at 11:00 when do I start eating and end.

As you can see, I have lot of questions and I oppologize. Most of you are probably thinking, WOW THIS GUY IS A NEWBIE. But NO I am not, just to this board. This is about the only forum that I ran into that looked like it can help my change. Its definately a career change, not for fun.( well atleats most of it isnt for fun) I dont expect too much help, just a little. Maybe someone can take me under their wing and help, and maybe understand that they have been in this situation before where they needed help. I have read ond read on different last week preps. And all I have to say is there are so many various oppinions. I know that I need to find something that works for me, I just need to get a little kick-start. This will be my first meet in August, and I want to stay ahead of the game and learn how to Carb load\ shit load.

Again if you made it though all this reading, thank you

Or you could read the Sticky at the top of the page entitled Peaking for Dummies, Last week out. I think for you're first show you need to try and keep it simple.
