    Default New bodybuilding federation
    New bodybuilding federation?
The following is news from Tom Prince on the Muscle Mayhem forum.

Does this mean no more IFBB?

    QUOTE:
"When David Pecker and AMI bought Weider Publishing, they also purchased the IFBB and the Mr. Olympia. Apparently, Ben Weider doesn't see it that way, or is having a hard time dealing with reality.

David Pecker and Wayne Demilia, along with Jim Lorimer and Arnold, are starting a new bodybuilding federation to get out from under the Weider's.

These talks are very recent, and obviously, are in the early stages of discussion and planning. But, I think it's interesting, and could be very good for bodybuilding. Ben Weider is so old and out of touch, that he has no clue as to what's going on in the IFBB".

That's where I think your wrong.

Not one BB has said they regret working for the WBF. The WBF changed bodybuilding forever. Because of Vince, the IFBB had to offer contracts to it's athletes and treat them better. Competion is never a bad thing.

I fully agree with the XFL though. Stupid Idea.

    Default my mistake
dont get me wrong i think competition is good and i really shoundnt of said mcmahon didnt know what he was doing in bodybuilding but his wbf seemed to have faded away so i guess i jumped to conclusion i definitely think the pros should be paid their do wich i dont think is happening they really should make a lot more money. i hope another federation can do that no matter who it is.
