 Posing Tunes
Hey hardcores, I need some input if you have any thoughts you'd like to share. I've searched through the threads and haven't found anything on this topic yet. Doing a show (1st one) in a couple of months and am having trouble finding a good routine song for posing. It's a 60 sec spot so would like to have something with solid/hard beats so the poses can be timed accordingly. I listen to metal for training but thinking that may not be the best choice for getting a crowd going, but maybe not. So far:
Filter - Hey Man Nice Shot (nice steady baseline)
50 Cent - I Can (again, definitive bass beats)
Godsmack - Get Back (pretty heavy bass)
Unfortunately, there are a couple of other R&B tunes, etc, that I have in mind but need to find out the artists/titles, still searching. Any suggestions (including which part of the song) about good rhythms for posing are greatly appreciated!
Thanks all.

I love Godsmack for posing routines!
Get Back is a great song and so is Moon Baby! I'd pick something heavy.
Disturbed is also great to pose too! Let us know what you decide to go with.

I like to mix a couple of different songs together. Start slow and artistic and finish with hardcore muscle poses. It is more important to be in great shape then have a great song to get the crowd going. From my experience.

Thanks Lady Fyre, I hadn't thought of Moon Baby, it is a good beat. I also like MDC's idea of mixing, maybe some R&B and metal. Need to make sure I have something that gets me going first and foremost. Yup MDC, I'm concentrating on my condition as first priority. Thanks for the help ya'll

you mean Superheavy....you overgrown beast!!!
You know I will help you with the routine, cause you know whiteboys ain't got no rythem or style!! This is what I am thinking......come out to that fifty cent and end it with a hard sound at the end so you can hit some muscular poses!!!

Yea, I think we'll be able to put together a pretty good tune. Just as long as you don't try to sneak parts of the Mexican National Anthem in there

Get the remake song Shout by Disturbed. It rocks and is a serious crowd pleaser. Choreographed just right on flexes with the chorus, you'd be sure to bring down the house if you come in right for the show.

Welcome over bro! Good to see you here. Yea, trying to figure the best metal song for the transition from a hip-hop/rap beat and IMO it needs to be a very distinct, bass-based tune. I've got a few combos working, will def test out Shout. Thanks for suggestion!

A heavy bass metal tune? It will depend on whether you like Hatebreed. I Have Not Yet Begun to Fight has a great bass beat in a thrash metal song at various parts of the song. Oh, and Hatebreed's I Have Not Yet Begun to Fight does have a very distinctive bass which I like alot. Check it out and see if ya like it.

Oh, and Bionic Jive is a fusion of rap and metal that has one incredibly great tune called Swarm. It sounds like something you'd hear in a WWF Smackdown.

hey i like marlynn manson the beautifull people is good , disturbed is good , also ministrys "new world order" is another good one stay away from hip-hop unless you can dance, i used to have the name of this guy who would make a special mix just for your posing rutine , mine started with a skit of a guy pulling up to Mcmuscles order a side chest fillet, a large double bi, and a crab turn over no tris it was hilarious then went off into a mix of new world order.
