    Default Is Vascularity Judged?
Is vascularity judged at the pro levels of competition? Cutler has almost no vascularity at all but he still fairs well.

I've been told it is but if that's the case why did Jay win?

Also....is it genetics or can you increase your vascularity?

Nah I don't think it's judged much if at all. If someone is lean and grainy that is enough.

I don't think it's weighted very heavy, if at all.

I actually just posted something about this in the anabolic forum...

The consensus seems to be that your vascularity will increase with your size and (obviously) the leaner you get. Besides that, it's genetics. Some people report EQ increasing their vascularity by a a good degree, though there isn't really any evidence to support this (especially since a lot of people use EQ in cutting cycles anyways).

It is not judged at all--

Guys like flex wheeler had very little in the area of veins and did very well.

I have practically none that are visable when i'm very very lean. You really can't do anything to change how close to the surface your veins are.

Perhaps indirectly, since it alters the appearance of one's physique a bit. But not really.
