    Default post you protien shake recipes here..
    hey i got tired of shuffling through all the varies threads on shakes..so i thought hey why not condence them to one thread...also feel free to add more shake ideas here...

    also while i'm at it heres one i been taking for about 3 weeks now..i use it post WO

    16 oz whole milk
    2 raw lrg eggs
    1/2 cup egg beaters
    2 tbls hvy whipping cream
    1 tbls safflower oil
    1 tbs wheat germ
    1 tbls honey
    i med/lrg banana
    blend for a brief moment..let the wheat germ settle
    then i add
    1 scoop ON casien protien powder
    1 scoop egg protien powder
    taste great and filling...right around 80-90 g pro, approx 77 carbs, and lil over 50 g fat..this is def a wieght gainer..take down all at once or split it up...i split it..enjoy...

    hers a clean bulker

    16 oz ff milk
    2 tbls wheat germ
    1/2 cup oats
    2 tbls PB
    1 banana med
    2 tbls honey
    quick blend...let settle
    add 1 scoop casien (25g pro)
    1 scoop egg protien (23-25g pro)
    blend again

    wa-la
    clean bulk shake
    roughly 81g pro 114 g carbs 11g fiber 22g fat some were around 970cals
    i use asa post post work out or as a post bed time shake.

    4 scoops of whey with 3 tablespoons of olive oil and whole milk

    thats a great bulking shake

    I've found a treasure trove of shake recipes off of Bodybuilding.com's website here's the first one....

    Berry Good Shake

    Ingredients:

    Mix 2 scoops of Raspberry Yogurt Protein Delite or other protein with
    4 strawberries
    15 blueberries
    16 ounces of nonfat milk
    1.2 cup of ice cubes.

    Blend... Plain and simply to make - takes about 30 seconds....

    Gives around 70g of protein and 40g of carbs....

    how big are your scoops....8 scoops oats seems like a lot. is that 1cup? or more/less.

    found this one at another site:

    Needed:
    Blender & 1/2 Measureing Cup, & Measuring Spoons:

    2scp: Protien Powder
    2cup: 1% Milk (or preferance)
    2tbsp: Flax or Extra Virgin Olive Oil
    .5cup: Blueberry
    .5cup: Oat Bran

    Optional:
    2tbsp: Cottege Cheese
    1tbsp: Honey
    1tsp: Cinnamon
    1: Banana

    Protien: Roughly 70g to 100g
    Carbs: Roughly 40g to 60g
    Fat: Roughly 21g

    Nearly 600cals to 800cals depending on the ingredients used.

    another recipe i borrowed from another site:

    CHOCOLATE BANANA CHUNK PROTEIN SHAKE

    Ingredients

    3 bananas
    6 eggs
    4 tablespoons cocoa/hot chocolate powder
    2 1/2 tablespoons peanut butter (chunky or creamy)
    4 1/2 cups milk
    3 tablespoons evaporated milk or powder milk

    Directions

    Pour the milk into blender, add 3 of the eggs and mix.

    Add 2 tablespoons of cocoa powder and mix.

    Add 2 bananas and 3 tablespoons of evaporated milk and mix.

    Add 2 tablespoons of cocoa powder, 3 eggs and mix.


    BANANA-STRAWBERRY HIGH PROTEIN SHAKE

    Ingredients

    2 scoops honey ice milk
    1/2 banana
    1 tbsp. vegetarian protein powder
    Strawberry juice to taste
    1 tbsp. Bragg liquid aminos
    1 tbsp. super rich yeast
    1/2 tbsp. lecithin
    1/2 tbsp. honey
    1/2 tbsp. wheat germ

    Directions

    Put ice milk and strawberry juice in first. While the blender is running, add the rest of the ingredients and blend well. You can use the juice of your choice.

    Add remaining banana, 2 1/2 tablespoons of peanut

    I'm trying to cut alot, my shake looks like this
    Scoop of Whey
    Skim Milk
    1 whole egg
    3 egg whites


    Can anyone critique or reccomend a better reciepe as I'm sure its pretty shitty

    are you taking this post work out or as a meal replacment?

    actually your best bet is to post your diet in the diet forum...and get it critiqued in there...
